The Bridge gave 567 prevention presentations to nearly 7,000 youth.
838 individuals with 752 kids received direct safety and support services.
34 of the 40 families we provided safe shelter to were able to move into permanent housing (85%) free from violence.

The Bridge website was made possible in part by a grant from the Lester A. Walker fund of the Fremont Area Community Foundation. Former owner and publisher of the Fremont Tribune, Lester Walker was a respected business leader, community promoter and philanthropist. He encouraged others to make their community a better place to live, and nonprofit organizations throughout the Fremont area have benefited from his charitable legacy.

We are opposed to the use of violence to control the lives of others. The Bridge is committed to eliminating violence in the lives of women and children through empowerment, education and social action.

Advocates are available for victims and anyone calling on their behalf to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referrals to other agencies.
